I’m a pedal steel guitarist and Dobro player, based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
My studio work has included traditional country music, in addition to rock, pop, funk, blues, electronic, rockabilly, bluegrass, ambient, shoegaze, free improvisation, and experimental music. My modern approach to the pedal steel guitar and Dobro often explores unconventional sounds using these traditional instruments.
On pedal steel and Dobro, I have recorded with a wide variety of musical artists including: Mike Plume, Steve Deeps & the Rumble Wagon, Coral Canyon, Astrxdbs, $a$ke, AJ Soliman, Alexcia Rose, Kristin Nicholls, Will Gillespie, Kelly Prescott, Oxford Blue, Bobby Dove, Ray Harris, Chopped Liver, All Caps and Patches, the Northern Empties, Jack Shooter, Jennifer Pederson, Local 164, Geoff Marshall, KJ Thomas, Cooper MacLaren, Lefty McRighty, Justin Sawicki, Copycat, Raina Krangle, Olimo, Pete VanDyk, the Rotted Roots Ramblers, Michael Rawls, Palmer Dawson, and many others.
I record, produce, mix, and master music at Hazy Grove Recording Studio. I also compose original music, including film soundtrack music.
